MEDIA ADVISORY - DISASTER RECOVERY CENTERS IN CALCASIEU PARISH OPEN AND EXTEND OPERATIONS [https://www.fema.gov/fact-sheet/media-advisory-disaster-recovery-centers-calcasieu-parish-open-and-extend-operations] Release Date: Nov 22, 2020 BATON ROUGE, LA.– A Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Lake Charles will open Nov. 24 to help hurricane survivors.   No appointments are necessary. Hours of operation for this center are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Monday to Friday, Saturdays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and closed Sundays.   The drive-thru center is at:   Calcasieu Parish Police Jury 2000 Moeling St. Lake Charles, LA 70601   The DRC in Moss Bluff will extend its operation and remain open until Dec. 1.  No appointments are necessary. Hours of operation for this center are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, Saturdays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and closed Sundays.   The center is at Moss Bluff Senior Center Parking Lot 2868 U.S. Hwy 171 N. Moss Bluff, LA 70611   Additional centers are open in Louisiana. Survivors may visit any center in the state.
