Fiscal Year 2024 Notice of Funding Opportunity Safeguarding Tomorrow through On-going Risk Mitigation Revolving Loan Fund program

The Fiscal Year 2024 Notice of Funding Opportunity for Safeguarding Tomorrow through On-going Risk Mitigation Revolving Loan Fund (Safeguarding Tomorrow RLF) program is published.  For this grant cycle, $150 million is available for the Safeguarding Tomorrow RLF program. The application period will be open from Feb. 1 – April 30, 2024. Subapplicants are encouraged to contact their state, territory, or tribal applicant as they may have earlier deadlines.

The Safeguarding Tomorrow RLF program complements and supplements FEMA’s Hazard Mitigation Assistance grant portfolio to support mitigation projects at the local government level and increase the nation’s resilience to natural hazards and climate change. These low interest loans will allow jurisdictions to reduce vulnerability to natural disasters, foster greater community resilience and reduce disaster suffering.
