GUAYNABO, Puerto Rico – All Community Recovery Centers will be closed Thursday, July 4,2019 in observance of Independence Day.

Centers will resume their regular hours of operation Friday, July 5.

Recovery officials encourage Irma and María survivors who registered for disaster assistance with FEMA to stay in touch. If survivors change addresses or phone numbers they should contact FEMA to update their information. Missing or incorrect information could result in delays in receiving assistance.

FEMA’s helpline will remain open July 4 from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.  Disaster survivors whose homes were affected by hurricanes Irma and María can get updates on their applications, learn about the appeals process or check the status of their claims by calling 800-621-FEMA (3362).
