WASHINGTON - Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Administrator Brock Long will return to Puerto Rico tomorrow, Oct. 2, 2017, for a first-hand update on response and recovery efforts following Hurricane Maria’s devastating impact Sept. 20, 2017.

“The purpose of his trip is to meet with Governor Rossello and the unified interagency command, assess the progress being made, and determine next steps to further stabilize, sustain and re-establish routine,” said Public Affairs Director William Booher.

Administrator Long will then join President Trump when he visits Puerto Rico on Tuesday. This will be Administrator Long’s third visit to Puerto Rico, since Hurricanes Irma and Maria ravaged the Commonwealth.
