SAN JUAN, PR -- The Government of Puerto Rico and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) officials announced that all Disaster Recovery Centers in Puerto Rico will remain closed in observance of Veterans Day national holiday, Friday, November 11 and Saturday, November 12.
The Centers will resume operations on Monday, November 14, 2011 in their regular hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; Saturday’s hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00p.m.
Eligible individuals and families may apply for assistance by calling 1-800-621-3362 (FEMA) or TTY 1-800-462-7585 for those who have speech disability or hearing loss. The lines are available from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday. On the Internet, disaster information remains available 24 hours a day at www.disasterassistance.gov , www.fema.gov or via mobile phone application m.fema.gov.
