FEMA Deploys BPAT Team to Study Tornadoes

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- In the face of the massive devastation from the tornadoes in Oklahoma and Kansas, FEMA has deployed a BPAT to study the performance of buildings and other structures. The team will study the performance of both conventional construction as well as tornado-resistant construction in the hopes of improving conventional and tornado-resistant construction and identifying success stories.
