Following the pilot projects that are underway nationwide, the “Know Your Line: Be Flood Aware” initiative plans a national rollout in 2013. If your community may be interested in participating, please send an email to Vincent Brown at firstname.lastname@example.org with your community's name, State, and point of contact and we will send you additional information.
Participating communities will be paired with a Federal Agency point of contact who will provide guidance on the initiative, access to tools and templates, samples of work other communities have done to promote local flood risk, and information about potential Community Rating System points for those communities participating in the program. Communities will also be asked to sign a memorandum of understanding with the Federal Working Group and identify a local point of contact for the initiative.
