The National Response Framework is a guide to how the Nation responds to all types of disasters and emergencies. It is built on scalable, flexible, and adaptable concepts identified in the National Incident Management System to align key roles and responsibilities across the Nation.
The National Mitigation Framework sets the strategy and doctrine for how the whole community builds, sustains, and delivers the Mitigation core capabilities identified in the National Preparedness Goal in an integrated manner with the other mission areas.
The National Disaster Recovery Framework (NDRF) establishes a common platform and forum for how the whole community builds, sustains, and coordinates delivery of recovery capabilities.
