National Flood Insurance Program Task Force
This fact sheet provides information on the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) Call Center Pilot Program. This NFIP technical support hotline is intended for policyholders who have questions about their flood insurance policy or the claims process and disaster survivors who have general questions about the NFIP.
The OFIA receives inquiries from policyholders and property owners in the four primary focus. These four areas of are National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) flood insurance, flood hazard mapping, floodplain management, and Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA) grants. The periodic reports are an effort to increase transparency on the incoming inquiries into the office.
