Salvaging Photo Albums

Stacy Bowe is a training coordinator for Smithsonian Cultural Rescue Initiative, which is a team with the Smithsonian Institution.  She provided information to survivors about how to salvage family heirlooms, photos, books, textiles after Hurricane Florence in Horry County, South Carolina. This is made possible through the Heritage Emergency National Task Force which is co-chaired by the Smithsonian Institution and FEMA. It's made up of over 50 organizations. Stacy shares proper salvaging techniques for photos that have come in contact with floodwater.
