One Year After: Hurricane Relief for Puerto Rico's Farmers

Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, September 20, 2018 - The municipality of Yabucoa was the first to receive Hurricane María's strong winds. The hurricane destroyed farms, along with cattle, plantain and coffee harvests. FEMA's federal partner the U.S. Department of Agriculture, is providing relief to farmers, who suffered damage from the hurricane through its Wildfires and Hurricanes Indemnity Program (WHIP).
