Oklahoma Kicks Off Safe Schools 101 Initiative

Norman, Okla., November 21, 2013 -- Tom Reynolds, URS Lead Trainer and licensed Professional Engineer (PE), teaches a class of engineers, architects and building designers attending a Safe Schools 101 training initiative at the Moore Norman Technology Center in Norman, OK. The state of Oklahoma with the support of FEMA is spearheading a Safe Schools 101 Initiative (a first-in-the-nation endeavor) to assess the integrity and safety of all its schools to protect its students from the dangers of tornadoes.
