Detroit District begins construction on alternate care facility

DETROIT, Mich. (March 29, 2020) – The Detroit District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers work to construct a large alternate care facility in downtown Detroit after being mission assigned by FEMA. USACE continues to make significant progress across the nation in its efforts to support the FEMA-led response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic.
