Tribal Relations Summit

Placerville, CA, Dec, 3, 2015—The Shingle Springs Band of Miwok Indians hosted the California Tribal Historic Preservation Officers State Historic Preservation Summit. Topics included preserving Tribal cultural resources, disaster response programs and climate change. Dr. Alessandro Amaglio, FEMA Region IX Environmental Officer (C), discusses environmental and historic preservation at the California Tribal Historic Preservation Officers - State Historic Preservation Officers Summit. This years summit is focusing on networking while preparing and addressing the protection of natural, cultural, historic, and tribal resources with emergency response, climate change, and our overall needs in a changing environment.
