National Engagement for Draft Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Tools

FEMA’s National Integration Center is seeking public feedback on tools for inclusion in the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) Toolkit, a resource for EOCs across the nation to strengthen their preparedness and response. This National Engagement Period will conclude at 5 p.m. EDT on Oct. 24, 2019. National Engagement provides an opportunity for interested parties to comment on the draft toolkit to ensure the material is relevant for all implementing partners.

Emergency Operation Centers play a critical role in incident management and response, and he role of EOCs varies widely across the nation according to laws and authorities. FEMA is releasing documents for an EOC Toolkit that emergency managers and EOC staff have resources to assist in strengthening their EOC.

Two documents for potential inclusion in the EOC Toolkit include Operational Period Shift Briefing Template and SAMHSA’s Stress Management.
