FEMA is seeking public comments on the draft version of the “Restoration and Recovery Guide for Private-Public Partnerships”.

FEMA seeks public feedback on the National Incident Management System Information and Communications Technology Functional Guidance.

The one-hour virtual trainings will be facilitated by GPD’s Procurement Disaster Assistance Team (PDAT) and will cover the federal rules that allow for noncompetitive (“sole source”) procurements along with important compliance considerations when exercising these flexibilities.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has delivered preliminary flood maps for parts of Elko County. The maps identify revised flood hazards along the Humboldt River; East Adobe, Charlie and Harper Creeks; and the Woodland Drain and its tributaries. These new maps will help building officials, contractors and homeowners make effective mitigation decisions, thereby contributing to safer and more disaster resilient communities.
