The Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) Program is constantly seeking ways to improve. In FY 2023 there were nearly 8,000 fire departments that submitted applications for funding. We are now asking those departments that applied to attend a listening session to tell us about your experience.


Representatives from FEMA will host a Flood Map Information Open House for communities in Branch County, Michigan, on April 18, 2024, from 5 – 7 PM. The open house will give residents a chance to review preliminary versions of the recently completed Flood Insurance Study (FIS) report and its accompanying preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs).

Mobile Registration Intake Centers (MRICs) are open in Kent & Providence counties, Rhode Island, from April 16 through April 20, 2024 for those affected by severe storms/flooding.
