ONE DAY LEFT TO APPLY: SUBMIT FEMA, SBA APPLICATION BY MARCH 2 [https://www.fema.gov/press-release/20220301/one-day-left-apply-submit-fema-sba-application-march-2] DENVER – Boulder County residents and businesses have one day left to apply for disaster assistance related to the Marshall Fire and straight-line winds. Community members impacted have through March 2, 2022 to apply with FEMA and/or the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Boulder County residents and business owners have four ways to apply for assistance. Please note the daily closing times for the FEMA helpline and the Disaster Recovery Center and use the on-line options if you need to apply after hours but before the deadline. To continue to check on the status of your application or provide additional information and documentation, use the same four ways: * Call the FEMA helpline at 800-621-3362. Multilingual operators are available. The toll-free number is open every day from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. MST. If you use a relay service, such as video relay service (VRS), captioned telephone service or others, give FEMA the number for that service. * Visit the Disaster Recovery Center at 1755 S. PUBLIC ROAD, LAFAYETTE, COLORADO. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. MST Monday through Saturday (closed Sundays). FEMA program experts are available to answer questions about the application and recovery processes. * Go on-line to DisasterAssistance.gov [http://www.DisasterAssistance.gov]. * Download the FEMA mobile app for smartphones. Although the application period closes on March 2, eligible applicants will continue to have access to FEMA programs through the end of the period of assistance (not to exceed 18 months from date of declaration). Other federal, state, and voluntary agencies will also continue to work with disaster survivors to assist in their recovery efforts.
