FEMA Working for Arkansans
As of May 23, FEMA has approved 3,386 applications resulting in more than $7.6 million in assistance awarded to Arkansas survivors from the March 31 severe storms and tornadoes through the Individuals and Households Program (IHP), which supports individuals and families.
Apply for FEMA Assistance
FEMA is committed to helping all eligible Arkansas residents recover. Survivors of Cross, Lonoke and Pulaski counties are eligible to apply for FEMA Individual Assistance. This could include temporary housing, repairs and other uninsured or underinsured loss. The deadline to apply for FEMA assistance is July 3.
If you have not yet applied for FEMA disaster assistance, there is still time. You can visit any FEMA Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) for assistance filing your FEMA application, upload documents or get answers to questions about federal disaster assistance. Other recovery specialists from the U.S. Small Business Administration, the state and nonprofit organizations are also typically available in a DRC to address additional needs.
Survivors can visit any DRC open in Arkansas. DRCs are open Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays; Closed Sundays and are located:

You may also apply online. It’s the quickest and easiest way to create an application and/or upload accompanying documents. Just go to disasterassistance.gov and click the appropriate icon to start your application or check your application status.
If you are not able to visit a DRC or apply online, call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362. Specialists staff the toll-free number from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week. If you use a relay service, such as video relay service (VRS), captioned telephone service or others, give FEMA your number for that service. Multilingual operators are available (press 2 for Spanish).
