Funding for Older Americans Act Title VI: Native American Programs (93.047)
The nutrition and supportive services grants include congregate and home-delivered meals, information and referral, transportation, personal care, chores, health promotion and disease prevention, and other supportive services. The caregiver services grants include assisting families in caring for older relatives with chronic illness or disability, and grandparents caring for grandchildren.
The purpose of Title VI of the OAA is to promote the delivery of nutrition, supportive and caregiver services to Native Americans, Alaskan Natives, and Native Hawaiians that are comparable to services provided under Title III of the OAA.
