Building on the success of last year’s seminar, Dam Resiliency in the Era of Intensifying Natural Hazards and Climate Conditions, this year’s seminar topic will be “Risk Informed Decision Making (RIDM) and Benefit Cost Analysis (BCA) for Dam and Levee Projects.” The challenges, benefits, tools and success stories of using RIDM and BCA to make decisions for dam and levee projects will be discussed. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the 2021 NDSPTS will be held virtually this year via Adobe Connect. 

Deadline for Registration: January 15, 2021

NETC have discontinued the practice of students submitting paper applications (FEMA Form 119-25-1).

Helpful Hints in Applying for NDSPTS

  • Use Course Code: K8535
  • Course Dates: February 16-19, 2021
  • Know your FEMA Student Identification (SID) number prior to applying for a course; if you do not have a SID number please obtain one at https://cdp.dhs.gov/femasid
  • All EMI and NFA applications require an electronic approval from the head of your sponsoring organization. You will need the name, title, and email address of this person to submit the application. (Some examples: your supervisor, department head, etc.)

Note: The current version of the online admissions application is not compatible with mobile devices.
