Each package will be individualized for each nursing home based upon their level of staffing. “I would like to extend my gratitude to the President for his leadership on this project, as well as to thank fellow members of the White House Coronavirus Task Force for their continued partnership,” said FEMA Administrator Pete Gaynor. “Together, we have fulfilled a critical need for America’s seniors and frontline healthcare workers.” The first shipments begin next week and will continue throughout May. These initial shipments will focus on metropolitan-area priority sites, such as New York City, Northern New Jersey, Boston, Chicago and Washington D.C.
