RECOVERY CENTERS IN OREGON, OZARK AND STONE COUNTIES WILL REMAIN OPEN [https://www.fema.gov/press-release/20250121/recovery-centers-oregon-ozark-and-stone-counties-will-remain-open] Release Date: Jen 30, 2017 JEFFERSON CITY, MO. – Three disaster recovery centers previously scheduled to close will remain open until further notice, serving survivors of the severe storms and flooding that occurred in Missouri between April 28 and May 11, 2017. In coordination with Missouri’s Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), the centers in Oregon, Ozark and Stone counties will continue to provide in-person support to individuals and businesses. Representatives from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) can answer questions on disaster assistance or low-interest disaster loans. Disaster survivors in any county designated by the recent federal disaster declarations in Missouri and Arkansas can visit the centers, even if they don’t live in the county where the center is located. SBA also offers low-interest working capital loans (called Economic Injury Disaster Loans) to small businesses and nonprofit organizations having difficulty meeting obligations as a result of the disaster.
