The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) at Ranken Technical College in St. Louis will close on Monday, November 7 at 5 p.m. November 7 is also the application deadline for federal assistance for individuals in St. Louis, St. Louis County and St. Charles County directly affected by the July 25-28 storms and flooding.

In addition to applying for assistance at a DRC, there are several ways for renters and homeowners who were affected by the July storms and flooding to apply for FEMA disaster assistance before the November 7 deadline.
- Apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov
- Download and use the FEMA mobile app to apply
- Call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362 to apply
- If you use a relay service, such as video relay (VRS), captioned telephone or other service, give FEMA the number for that service. The Helpline is open seven days a week. Press 2 for Spanish or 3 for an interpreter who speaks your language.
Free legal assistance is available to individuals in St. Louis, St. Louis County and St. Charles County who need help with flood-related issues, such as home repair contracts and insurance claims, landlord issues and replacing legal documents.
- St. Louis area residents may call 800-829-4128 to leave a message about legal issues arising from damage caused by the floods. Include your name, phone number, and county of residence.
