APPROVES DISASTER DECLARATION FOR NEW HAMPSHIRE [https://www.fema.gov/press-release/20230315/president-joseph-r-biden-jr-approves-disaster-declaration-new-hampshire] Release Date: mars 15, 2023 WASHINGTON -- FEMA announced that federal disaster assistance has been made available to the state of New Hampshire to supplement state and local recovery efforts in areas affected by a severe storm and flooding during the period of Dec. 22-25, 2022. Funding is available to the state, eligible local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations on a cost-sharing basis for emergency work and the repair or replacement of facilities damaged by the severe storm in Belknap, Carroll, Coos and Grafton counties. Funding is also available on a cost-sharing basis for hazard mitigation measures statewide. William F. Roy has been named as the Federal Coordinating Officer for federal recovery operations in the affected areas. Additional designations may be made at a later date if requested by the state and warranted by the results of further assessments.
