FEMA Approves Nearly $1.375 Million for Debris Removal in Connecticut

REGION 1 More than $1.375 million has been awarded to the Connecticut Department of Transportation for debris removal operations in the wake of the severe storms, tornadoes and straight-line winds of federally-declared disaster DR-4385-CT.  This funding is a result of a partnership between FEMA and the Connecticut Division of Emergency Management and Homeland Security.

 

FEMA Approves Nearly $2,052 Million for Debris Removal in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

REGION 1 – FEMA obligates funding for this project directly to the Commonwealth.  It is the Commonwealth's responsibility to ensure that the eligible sub-recipient receive this award.  Following the Commonwealth’s review process and upon receipt of appropriate documentation, they will provide funds to the sub-recipient on a reimbursable basis.

 

FEMA Approves $1,234,894 to City of Lynn for Seaport Landing Marina

REGION 1 – The City of Lynn, Massachusetts will receive 1.234,894 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the costs incurred due to damage to the City’s Seaport Landing Marina as a result of a February 8-9, 2013, severe winter storm, snowstorm, and flooding event.  This funding is a result of a partnership between FEMA and the Massachuset

President Donald J. Trump Approves Major Disaster Declaration for New Hampshire

WASHINGTON – FEMA announced that federal disaster assistance has been made available to the state of New Hampshire to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by a severe storm and flooding on July 11-12, 2019.

Federal funding is available to the state and eligible local governments and certain private nonprofit organizations on a cost-sharing basis for emergency work and the repair or replacement of facilities damaged by the severe storm and flooding in Grafton County.

FEMA Approves $1,434,758 to the Town of Norwich for Roadway Repairs

REGION 1 – The Town of Norwich will receive $1,434,758 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the costs incurred due to damage to the Town’s roadways as a result of a June 29-July1, 2017, severe storm and flooding event.  This funding was brought to fruition by a partnership between FEMA and Vermont Emergency Management.
