FEMA will provide more than $5.9 Million to Minnkota Power Cooperative

CHICAGO - The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced today that $5,912,150 in federal funding has been made available to Minnkota Power Cooperative for repairs to the electrical distribution system in northwestern Minnesota.

WASHINGTON – FEMA announced that federal disaster assistance has been made available to the state of Minnesota to supplement state, tribal and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe winter storms, straight-line winds, and flooding from March 12-April 28, 2019.

President Donald J. Trump Approves Major Disaster Declaration for Minnesota

WASHINGTON – The Federal Emergency Management Agency announced today that federal disaster assistance has been made available to the state of Minnesota to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe storms and flooding on Oct. 9 – 11, 2018.

Federal funding is available to state and local governments, and certain private nonprofit organizations on a cost-sharing basis for emergency work and the repair or replacement of facilities damaged by the severe storms and flooding in St. Louis County.

CHICAGO - The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced today that $5,912,150 in federal funding has been made available to Minnkota Power Cooperative for repairs to the electrical distribution system in northwestern Minnesota.
 
This grant funding is part of FEMA’s recovery efforts in response to the federal disaster declaration on September 6, 2018.
