CHICAGO – The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has released $2,822,855 in Pre-Disaster Mitigation (PDM) funds to Salem Township for the construction of a safe room in the Sandy Pines campground in Allegan County, Mich.

CHICAGO – The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has released $1,302,573 in Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) funds to the City of Dearborn, Mich., for a stormwater diversion mitigation project. The project includes the installation of two new shut-off gates in the West Dearborn Sewage District and the construction of an overflow structure.
