WASHINGTON — La Agencia Federal para el Manejo de Emergencias (FEMA, por sus siglas en inglés) anunció que asistencia federal por desastre está disponible para el estado de Massachusetts para suplementar los esfuerzos de recuperación para el estado, tribus y gobiernos locales afectados por la enfermedad pandémica del Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) empezando el 20 de enero 2020, y continúa.

La acción del presidente hace disponibles fondos federales para Consejería de Crisis para los individuos afectados en todas las áreas del estado de Massachusetts.

President Donald J. Trump Approves Major Disaster Declaration for Massachusetts

WASHINGTON — FEMA announced that federal emergency aid has been made available for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to supplement the commonwealth, tribal and local recovery efforts in the areas affected by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic beginning on Jan. 20, 2020, and continuing.

The President's action makes federal funding available for Crisis Counseling for affected individuals in all areas of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

FEMA Approves Nearly $2,052 Million for Debris Removal in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

REGION 1 – FEMA obligates funding for this project directly to the Commonwealth.  It is the Commonwealth's responsibility to ensure that the eligible sub-recipient receive this award.  Following the Commonwealth’s review process and upon receipt of appropriate documentation, they will provide funds to the sub-recipient on a reimbursable basis.
