View previous disasters online

I was previously assisted by FEMA. Can I view information online for all the disasters I've applied?

If you were assisted by FEMA during a disaster occurring after November 2002, you can view information about your FEMA file online by creating an account on DisasterAssistance.gov.

If you would like a printed copy of your registration or need information about a disaster that occurred prior to November 1, 2002, you will need to send FEMA a request for that information in writing.

When submitting your letter, please include your full name, the last four digits of your social security number, your disaster number, and your FEMA registration number. If you do not know your disaster or registration number, be sure to include the date of the disaster, your damaged property address and telephone number. Also, you must include your date and place of birth, and current address.

In addition, your letter must be either notarized, include a copy of a state issued identification card, or include the following statement, "I hereby declare under penalty of perjury that the foregoing is true and correct." You must sign the letter. If someone other than you or the co-applicant is writing the letter, then a statement must be included saying that that person may act for you. Please specify what you are requesting from your file.
