Information provided by the FEMA inspector

I received a letter from FEMA stating I was not eligible for assistance, but the inspector told me I was going to get money from FEMA. Which is correct?

The letter is correct. The eligibility decision is made by a qualified caseworker after all the necessary information is received. At the time of the inspection, the inspector does not have information on eligibility matters or decisions.
