- 101 individuals and households have been approved for $607,374 in federal grants through FEMA’s Individuals and Households Program.
- Nearly $2.7 million in U.S. Small Business Administration low-interest disaster loans have been approved for 21 homeowners and renters and two businesses as of Jan 22.
Housing Assistance:
- $471,787 in grants approved for housing repairs or replacement for 57 homeowners.
- $135,587 in grants have been approved for personal property, transportation and other disaster-related serious needs for 79 applicants.
- 263 home inspections have been issued with 99 percent completed.
- Linn county is one of five Oregon counties approved to participate in FEMA’s Direct Temporary Housing Program.
- Construction on a new Mill City site began earlier this month, with work completed ahead of schedule. The site is currently scheduled to house 13 manufactured housing units (MHUs) and can accommodate up to 16 MHUs, providing necessary temporary housing for the qualified residents of both Linn and Marion counties.
- Survivor housing units are chosen by FEMA based on the survivor family composition and needs, as well as to ensure that requirements for access or functional needs are met.
- Ongoing participation in the program, which can last until March 2022, depends on each survivor’s efforts to find permanent housing and following the rules established by the park and FEMA.
