Media Advisory - Some FEMA Disaster Recovery Centers Will Close Temporarily October 28

Louisiana survivors should check the status of the Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) this week before visiting.  The following centers in Acadia, Beauregard, Calcasieu, Cameron, Sabine, St. Landry, Vermilion and Vernon parishes will be closed Wednesday, Oct. 28, due to anticipated inclement weather.

 

You can check the status of a DRC prior to a visit to ensure the facility is open, visit:egateway.fema.gov/ESF6/DRCLocator.

 

These centers are scheduled to reopen Thursday, Oct. 29, assuming roads and ground conditions permit.

 

The DRCs in Lincoln, Natchitoches and Rapides parishes will remain open.

 

The drive-thru DRC in Grant parish closed permanently today.
