Media Advisory - Disaster Recovery Center Opens in Calcasieu Parish November 17 Disaster Recovery Centers in Calcasieu Change Hours, Days of Operation

BATON ROUGE, La.–A Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) will open in Moss Bluff to help hurricane survivors on Nov. 17.

 

No appointments are necessary. This center will be open until Nov. 20; hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

 

The drive-thru center is located at:

Effective Nov. 14, the DRCs in Lake Charles at the Civic Center and in Sulphur at the Frasch Park Softball Field will be closed on Sundays.  The hours of operation will change to 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.

 

Additional centers are open in Louisiana. Survivors may visit any center in the state. To locate the closest center or check on the status of a DRC prior to a visit to ensure the facility is open, visit: egateway.fema.gov/ESF6/DRCLocator.

Survivors don’t need to visit a center to apply or update their applications. To ask individual questions or submit information:
