FEMA will host an in-person tribal listening session with Tribal Nations at the Executive Council Winter Session of the National Congress of American Indians to discuss FEMA’s new Shelter and Services Program.

Event Details

FEMA will host an in-person tribal listening session to discuss the new Shelter and Services Program (SSP). The purpose of this listening session is to gather feedback from Tribal leaders to inform FEMA’s and U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) implementation of SSP in order to better serve Tribal Nations. Senior leadership from FEMA’s Office of Enterprise Grant Services and CBP will lead the session.

During the listening session, FEMA will be prioritizing comments from Tribal Leaders and representatives of Tribal Nations.
