Suspicious Activity Recognition for Bombing Prevention  

This course provides participants with a foundational introduction to recognizing and responding to suspicious behaviors and activities related to terrorist or criminal activities. The course also highlights what to do when encountering an unattended or suspicious item and to whom to report it.  

The course focuses on raising the awareness of public safety and security professionals related to suspicious activities that accompany the planning of a bombing attack. Response to Suspicious Behaviors and Items for Bombing Prevention 

This course provides participants with a foundational introduction to recognizing and responding to suspicious behaviors and activities related to terrorist or criminal activities. The course also highlights what to do when encountering an unattended or suspicious item and to whom to report it.  

The course provides an overview of appropriate responses to suspicious behaviors and items by differentiating normal and abnormal behaviors and highlighting appropriate responses to potential terrorist or criminal activity. Introduction to Bomb Threat Management  

This event will provide an overview of bomb threat and emergency planning and teach you how to evaluate and respond to bomb threats and suspicious items.  

The course offers learners foundational knowledge on domestic bomb threat data, the Office for Bombing Prevention’s bomb threat management plan process, key components of a bomb threat plan and the overall impact of such threats. Bomb Threat Assessment 

This event will provide an overview of bomb threat and emergency planning and teach you how to evaluate and respond to bomb threats and suspicious items.

Active Shooter Preparedness  

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) aims to build and support active shooter preparedness by empowering critical infrastructure owners and operators to pursue a “whole of community” approach by providing no-cost resources, tools and training. This two-hour webinar offers information and best practices that can enhance emergency action planning capabilities applicable broadly across sectors and provides considerations to assist with mitigating the impacts of an active shooter incident, while encouraging recovery preparedness.

“House of Worship Active Shooter” CISA Tabletop Exercise Package (CTEP) Workshop 

This virtual workshop will inform faith-based organizations about Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) downloadable exercise packages. The workshop will also provide tips, training and advice for conducting your own exercise and enhancing your preparedness/resilience.
