August is National Resilience Month at FEMA. This event is part of FEMA’s year-long effort to convene experts from across the federal family, state, local and private sector to share stories on funding opportunities and building resilience. Attendees will hear conversations on resilience across America – how to get funding to help prepare for, work through and land on the other side of a disaster – and come out stronger. Among underserved and under resourced communities, levels of resiliency vary widely. Our speakers will share examples of what resilience building looks like across these diverse communities.
