FEMA's Flood Hazard Import Tool (FHIT) is an open-source tool that allows Hazus users to rapidly access and incorporate publicly available coastal flood hazard data from ADCIRC, and eventually other sources, into a Hazus flood analysis. FEMA’s Hazus program designed the tool to provide planners, analysts, and policymakers with a free and simple tool to help model flood risk in their communities.

Watch members from FEMA’s Hazus program demonstrate a live analysis and learn more about ADCIRC from our guest speaker, Rick Luettich, an Alumni Distinguished Professor and Director of the DHS Coastal Resilience Center of Excellence at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
