FEMA Individual and Community Preparedness (Regions 5 and 10) are proud to present the first webinar in the series: Personal and Emotional Resiliency in the Face of Disasters on Wednesday, December 15th at 1pm CT/2pm ET. The webinar, “Healthy Gatherings: Navigating Stress and Anxiety During the Holidays” will focus on steps individuals can take to improve their mental health and personal resilience as the holidays approach. Subject matter experts will discuss simple, yet powerful practices that can help sustain the energy, focus and balance during times of extreme stress – to ensure a healthy gathering. Guest speakers include Tori Wynecoop from the National Center on Domestic Violence, Trauma, and Mental Health and Mary Schoenfeldt from Green Cross Academy of Traumatology. Learn simple, yet powerful, mindfulness practices that can help you take care of your mental health this holiday season!
