This draft policy will establish Public Assistance programmatic and implementation deadlines across all COVID-19 emergency and major disaster declarations and describes application of the 100% cost share through July 1, 2022, and 90% federal cost share effective July 2, 2022. Parties interested in applying for Public Assistance related to the COVID-19 emergency and major disaster declarations are encouraged to review and provide feedback on the policy. Please provide comments using the accompanying comment matrix, and submit the comment matrix to: fema-recovery-pa-policy@fema.dhs.gov.

The Public Assistance Division will host a series of 60-minute webinars to discuss the upcoming programmatic deadlines and answer related questions. All webinars are open to states, tribal nations, localities, territories, and eligible private nonprofits (including hospital administrators and medical care providers). Each stakeholder webinar will cover the same information; choose the session most convenient for you. Please note that these webinars are intended for the stakeholders identified, not for the general public. More information is forthcoming on how to participate in the following scheduled events:
