FEMA is seeking feedback on the draft “Local Elected and Appointed Officials Guide: Roles and Resources in Emergency Management.” This guide makes it easier for senior officials to understand, prepare for and execute their leadership responsibilities to help:
- Mitigate community risks.
- Save lives.
- Protect property.
- Recover from disasters.
Webinars
FEMA will host a series of 60-minute webinar sessions to provide an overview of the draft Local Elected and Appointed Officials Guide and to gather feedback from whole community partners. The sessions will include facilitated discussions with stakeholders to help improve the existing draft. FEMA seeks input -- especially real-world case studies -- that can be incorporated into the guide. Advance registration is required and on a first-come, first-served basis.
