FEMA Region 3 is hosting the 2022 PIO and Preparedness Partner Summit, held virtually this year, as an opportunity for partners to come together to share best practices, lessons learned, and network with the whole community of emergency management agency communications and messaging stakeholders. Whether or not you’re in public messaging or preparedness, this summit will facilitate ways in which representatives and speakers can address various issues and propose solutions to make public information, strategic communications, and preparedness messaging equitable, efficient and effective.

Wednesday, June 15, Day 1 of the summit will feature discussions and workshops focused on both PIOs and Preparedness Partners.

Thursday, June 16 is Day 2 and discussions will focus more on PIO audiences.

Friday June 17 is Day 3 will focus more on Preparedness Partners. In the spirit of collaboration, we invite you to join us for all sessions.

Each day of the summit will include workshops and seminars that begin approximately on the hour and run through noon. Attendees are welcome to join for just a few seminars/discussions or the entire day each day.
