FEMA Logo

In honor of National Building Safety Month, the May 11 webinar will bring together experts on building codes to talk about the importance of investing in building codes now, how to communicate successfully about building codes, and why FEMA is encouraging their use throughout its Hazard Mitigation programs. Dr. Jiqiu (JQ) Yuan, PE, PhD, PMP, with the National Institute of Building Sciences, and Mr. Ryan M. Colker, J.D., CAE, will speak to what community decision makers should know about building codes and how to build supportive partnerships in the research, public and private sector.
