FISCAL YEAR 2022 TRANSIT SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM KEY CHANGES [https://www.fema.gov/fact-sheet/fiscal-year-2022-transit-security-grant-program-key-changes] Release Date: mayo 13, 2022 Transit Security Grant Program provides funding to eligible public transportation systems (which include intra-city bus, ferries and all forms of passenger rail) to protect critical transportation infrastructure and the travelling public from terrorism, and to increase transportation infrastructure resilience.This document outlines key changes for the fiscal year (FY) 2022 TSGP. KEY CHANGES The available funding for the program is $93 million, an increase of $5 million from fiscal year 2021. The National Priority Area of Addressing Emerging Threats is being removed. However, all activities previously allowable under that National Priority Area remain allowable under the program. The two remaining National Priority Areas are Enhancing Cybersecurity and Enhancing the Protection of Soft Targets and Crowded Places. The period of performance (POP) for capital infrastructure projects will be 48 months. The POP for all other projects remains 36 months.
