In celebration of NDEAM (National Disability Employment Awareness Month), join us to attend our third annual Disability Mentoring Day. This year NDEAM theme is “America’s Recovery: Powered by Inclusion” In support of NDEAM and FEMA’s effort to become a model employer for individual with disabilities. Disability Mentoring Day promotes career development for individuals with disabilities through practical career exploration with FEMA employees. Participants will attend a virtual session learning about FEMA job opportunities, FEMA Core Programs and then be paired with FEMA mentors in their desired career field or occupation to learn a typical workday and identify necessary skills needed to work for FEMA.
