The Pierce County Department of Public Works and Utilities has applied for funding under FEMA’s Homeland Security Grant Program to construct a 250 tower at the Department’s Central Maintenance Facility. In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and FEMA’s regulations for implementing NEPA at 44 CFR Part 10, an Environmental Assessment has been prepared to evaluate the potential impacts of the project on the human and natural environment.
