Special Assistant to the Director, GS-9 to GS-13

Description of Responsibilities: 

The DHS Center is pleased to announce the opening of 90-day detail opportunity for a dynamic, proactive person to assist the Director as Special Assistant. This person will work with the Director in a variety of special projects, attending meetings, and managing the Director’s calendar and travel. The incumbent should have a working knowledge of Fed Traveler. The DHS Center works daily with the White House, DHS and FEMA, where its offices are part of the Office of the Administrator in the 500 C St. SW location. The Center is one of 13 similar federal agency offices under the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.

 Requirements/Experience:

Knowledge of Fed Traveler and keeping a senior executive's calendar.
