OVERVIEW: The Office of Personnel Management is sponsoring two free1-day leadership training seminars for National Security Professionals and Senior Executive Service members. The seminar topics focus on Meta-Leadership which is designed to support continual leadership development and prepare executive-level officials to meet complex challenges of the modern era. Meta-Leadership is a framework and practice method developed by faculty at the National Preparedness Leadership Initiative in conjunction with the Harvard School of Public Health’s Division of Policy Translation and Leadership Development, and the Harvard Kennedy’s School’s Center for Public Leadership.
Leadership in Times of Crises – Designed for Federal executive-level National Security Professionals. The curriculum focus is strategic leadership during emergency situations that require coordination of activities by multiple agencies, organizations, and stakeholders to prepare and unify response efforts.
Achievement of Administration Priorities through Enterprise Leadership – Designed for Senior Executive Service members. The curriculum focus is strategic leadership connectivity across the public, private, state/local and non-Governmental organizational sectors to ensure execution of the President’s agenda.
