April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) of 2000 (a division of the Victims of Trafficking and Violence Act), the first comprehensive law in the United States to address the transnational crime of human trafficking, child sexual exploitation and forced labor.
