If you were affected during the Sept. 25-28, 2024, remnants of Tropical Storm Helene and have questions about legal issues such as repair contracts, working with contractors, replacing wills and other legal documents, you might be eligible to get free legal counseling from a group of West Virginia lawyers who have volunteered limited legal help.
If you suffered damage or losses from the Sept. 25-28, 2024, remnants of Tropical Storm Helene, you have three weeks left to register with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for federal disaster assistance. The deadline to register is Friday, Feb. 7, 2025.
